This is hands down the best low cost practice mannequin. The whitney model is identical but with straighter hair. Sadly they have jumped from $24 to over $30 each, so I longer purchase them unless i have the cosmetologist discount that some sites offer. The ends of all practice mannequins is wispy, this is expected, this model is far superior to the other cheaper models. For a denser haired quality mannequin that is not just for hacking up, consider the Marianna Ms. Jenny. It is the lower price range of the higher quality. I have purchased these exensively from Best Clippers, and the customer service and shipping has ALWAYS, and without exception been excellent.
Pros:
Very quality hair for a mannequin, reaslitic density. This is the best of the low priced manneqquins, and is even better than some of the higher priced mannequins.
Cons:
Price has gone over what a cosmetologist needs to pay if they are purchasing more than 10 or 15 per year.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
