Great Clipper- Terrible Cord

I've been buying this clipper twice a year (along with a heavy duty clipper and several trimmers once per year) for the last 20 years. I am an extremely busy barber so this clipper gets a work-out from me. There's nothing more annoying than the cord wrapping around itself after a minute or two of use. The cords from the Designers I used 20 years ago were so much better. I wonder how much money Wahl has saved by using cheap plastic and no more rubber in their cords?
